Here are my Three HUGE starting habits to get you started!
1 - MAKE YOUR BED! ✅
Now it doesn’t need to be making your bed, it could be cutting out fizzy drinks, putting the dishwasher on before bed, tidying the living room… But the point is to start the reprogramming of your brain.
Starting with the little things, gamifying the process using a tracker like Streaks or making your own on Excel (habit tracker coming soon) will kick things off and as you get good at keeping the box checked you won’t even notice you’re doing these tasks anymore.
These new processes in your mind will be the building blocks for the habits that will change your life!
Mine are simple, but I still struggle from time to time and it infuriates me when I don’t complete them… especially my Apple Watch Rings 🤬. But this made me more dedicated to make sure it doesn’t happen too often!

2 - CHAMPAGNE LIFESTYLE ON SHANDY WAGES 💰
This is advice I did not take until it was too late, it was one of my Dad’s favourite sayings to me as I spent money on things I didn’t need and I’m still paying the debts off today…. Cars, Watches and Restaurants are for financially free people and that’s where we need to get to!!
So the next habit is to start tracking your budget! Click here for my Excel budget planner to start you off, but the key things you NEED to be tracking are:
Your incomings; dates, amounts and any deductions.
Your outgoings; the dates they come out, the amounts.
Interest rates on your debts
Assets; savings balance, investments, side hustles
Once you’re understanding your budget you’ll be able to start planning how we can tackle debt, or if you’re already there, start making investments! (I will not be giving any investment advice at this stage, just debt fighting!).
3 - RESET YOUR BODY… AND MIND! 💪🏻
I’ve struggled with my weight for the majority of my life and I’m still working on it now… Recently I have discovered what works best for me and it involves fasting.
100 Hours fasts aren’t for the faint-hearted, and if you can get through it, you will find that not only your body but your mind is reset, and you will have a type of clarity that you’ve not found in a while.
If this is too extreme, then intermittent fasting is also great, but you won’t get the benefits of your body resetting itself. When you’ve hit the 100 hours, your body has completely cleansed and purged all the crap.
I’ll go into more depth in follow-up videos, but my experience was that I felt hungry until the end of day 2, and I wouldn’t attempt this without zero-calorie electrolyte tablets to keep you going. You will get headaches, you will crave EVERYTHING, but once you’re out the other end, you will have set yourself up with a battling mentality!! And in my case 4.5kg lighter.
